ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE 32ND SUNDAY

  1. We sincerely thank the St. Maurus Small Christian Community that led Mass yesterday. They were 13 members in total. Next week it will be the turn of St. Josephine Bakhita Community, followed by St. Monica Community.

  2. Parish Raffle Tickets are available at the Parish Office, the Technical College shop here at the parish, the youth shop, and at Catechist John’s sacramental items table near the main church entrance.

  3. His Grace Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Ruwa’ichi, OFMCap, has invited all the faithful of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam to celebrate a Requiem Mass to pray for the eternal rest of our brothers and sisters who were killed during Tanzania’s general elections held on October 29, 2025.

    During this Mass, prayers will also be offered for the healing of those injured in the same incident.

    Following the Archbishop’s invitation, the Parish Priest invites all parishioners to attend Masses on Monday at 6:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., both offered for that intention.

  4. On Sunday, December 16, the children attending the English Mass will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Mass schedule for that day will be as follows:

    1. First Mass – as usual at 6:00 a.m.

    2. Second Mass – at 7:30 a.m.

    3. Third Mass (in English)4:00 a.m. (i.e., 10:00 a.m. Tanzanian time) where the children will receive Confirmation.

      There will be no Masses at 11:00 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. on that day.

  5. All the faithful of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam are invited to fully participate in the Archdiocesan Harvest Thanksgiving Mass on Saturday, November 22.

    The celebration will be preceded by Parish-level processions.

    All are encouraged to participate, and as a parish we will be led by our choirs.

    Registration has begun — leaders of zones and communities are asked to coordinate and encourage participation and registration.

  6. The election process for lay leaders at the zonal level and for Apostolic groups at the parish level is ongoing.

    Current leaders are requested to coordinate and facilitate these elections, including liaising with supervisors to agree on time and venue for the elections.

  7. First Holy Communion classes (in Swahili) will officially begin on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the parish.

    Confirmation classes are also ongoing.

    All registered children must attend without fail.

  8. Lady Chesham Nursery School has begun issuing registration forms for the 2026 academic year.

    Children to be enrolled should be aged between 2½ and 5 years.

    The deadline for collecting forms is December 15, 2026.

ANNOUNCEMENT – FORMER SEMINARIANS DAY

Dear Parish Priests, please announce from next Sunday that December 9, 2025 will be Former Seminarians Day.

His Grace Archbishop Jude Thaddaeus Ruwa’ichi, OFMCap, of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam, invites all who have ever been in seminary formation to join the gathering.

The Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Msimbazi Parish Church, presided over by the Archbishop.

After Mass, there will be a meeting and a reception at the Cardinal Adams Hall, Msimbazi Center.

To support the day, each former seminarian is requested to contribute at least Tsh 40,000 or more if able.

Those who are married are invited to come with their spouses and contribute Tsh 80,000 (for two people).

Participation fees should be sent via Voda M-Pesa number 54915132 (account name: FORMER SEMINARIANS DAY).

All former seminarians are warmly invited — do not miss this joyful day as we celebrate our vocation and support our Archbishop in the formation of Major Seminarians in our Archdiocese.
