PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Church Cleaning
We thank the St. Polycarp Small Christian Community for cleaning the church yesterday. A total of 12 members participated.
Next week, the duty will be carried out by the St. Hyacinta Community, followed by the St. Agatha Community.
2. Day of Prayer for the Sick and Caregivers
11th February is the Day of Prayer for the Sick and Caregivers. As this date falls on a Wednesday, the commemoration will take place on Sunday, 8th February, during the Second Mass.
Zonal and Small Christian Community leaders are requested to submit lists of their sick members to the Parish Office. All listed persons must be Catholics.
After the Mass, the sick and their caregivers (one caregiver per sick person) will share breakfast with the Parish Priest.
All are requested to treat this matter as urgent and important.
3. Lay Parish Council Meeting
A Lay Parish Council Meeting will be held on Sunday, 1st February, immediately after the Second Mass, in the Meeting Classroom.

4. Holy Childhood Society Elections
The elections for Holy Childhood Society Parish Leaders did not take place as scheduled.
They will now be held on Sunday, 1st February, immediately after the 4:00 PM Mass, in one of the parish classrooms.
Delegates: Small Christian Community Executive Committee Members
All caregivers of the Holy Childhood Society are requested to facilitate this exercise.
5. Holy Childhood Festival – Kigoma
The Holy Childhood Festival will take place in Kigoma from 18th – 22nd June 2025.
Participation fee per child: TZS 315,000
Deadline for submission of participants’ list: 24/03/2026
Registration should begin immediately through Small Christian Communities, Zones, or at the Parish Office.
Parents and well-wishers are kindly requested to support the children who will participate.
6. Children’s Rosary Recitation
Starting 31/01/2026, there will be Rosary recitation for children at the zonal level.
Time: 4:30 PM
The schedule will be prepared and shared
The St. Paul of the Cross Zone will begin
Zonal leaders are requested to liaise with the Sister in charge of children and ensure that children gather at the designated venues.
7. Sacred Heart of Jesus Choir Album Launch
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Choir of this parish will launch their video album on 15/02/2026, starting at 4:00 PM.
